THE GROUPWhen he first started his activities in Charleroi 35 years ago as an entrepreneur, Mr ROGER DE COCK couldn't suspect that at the beginning of 21st century he would be at the head of an international group: ENTREPRISES DE COCK REUNIES developing more than 100.000.000 € consolidated turnover.
At the beginning, the main activities of the company were essentially undertaken in the industrial construction field. But as the needs of substantial growth were more and more compelling, diversification of activity came up as a solution to it.
So in 1985 the company acquired the slaughterhouse of Charleroi to enter thus fully into the field of agro food industry.
In that same year, the group adds to its concrete department a company renowned for its production of manufactured and prepared concrete: B.P.M.N.: Béton Préparé et Manufacturé du Namurois.
Nowadays the concrete department handles more than 200.000 m3 of concrete and over 80.000 Tons of recycled concrete.
In its view of integrating every construction profession into its activities, the group purchased in 1987 TRAVHYDRO group which is the head office of 25 companies with a dozen established in Africa.
TRAVHYDRO is the leader of the scaffolding equipment market in Belgium and owns a network of agencies in Luxembourg and the Netherlands. The group has also indulged more recently in what has become its second biggest activity: a design department destined to the conception, the manufacture and the sale of full range stocking systems like accumulation storage shelves.
The development of the group in the African continent is best highlighted in Congo by the successive acquisitions from 1988 of a series of commercial companies such as UNILEVER's supermarket SELECT in Kinshasa, an industrial carpentry and a wholesale food store in Lubumbashi ; a purchase office in South Africa,...

Today the group has stabilized its foundations by remaining one of the most important leading actors in the field of construction, scaffolding and storage industries in Belgium and abroad. To insure its envied place in the Belgian market marked by a high competitiveness in these fields, the group adopted investments programs with an annual average amounting to 7.000.000 EUR.
The main recent investments have been made in the subsidiary company: Mineral Product International (M.P.I.) which is a manufacturer of outdoor public furniture and sanitary commodities in PVC resin and B.C.M.A. which is an ultra modern factory for the manufacture of concrete products.
